This site collects as little as it can get away with. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, and no cookies set by this site.

Mailing list

If you enter your email address in a signup form, it goes to our email provider and is used for one thing, which is sending you notes about new books and articles. It is not sold, rented, or shared. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs covering IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and abuse prevention. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy rather than this one.

Links out

Buy links point to third-party retailers. Once you follow one you are on their site, subject to their policies and not these.
